Summit Class Information

Schedules are still being organized. Class sizes will vary due to classroom size capacity. Registration will begin one month before the event. You will be able to request your preferred classes - 1st choice per block and 2nd choice per block. You are guaranteed 3 classes/demos/seminars per day and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred choices.

  • This class is for the photographer who are wanting a stress-free session workflow.

    Anja will take you through a normal gallery she creates for a client, how she prepares her clients, her relaxed posing beanbag workflow and demonstrate how to create a diverse gallery without the use of props or many colours, but by including the parents in as many poses as possible.

  • This class will demonstrate how to create a transition from soft to dramatic light, using one light only. Techniques demonstrated in this class will be suitable for working in smaller spaces as well as bigger spaces.

    Anja will start the class by explaining lighting theories and equipment that will help you choose lighting techniques for your clients. Anja will then demonstrate how she creates a full gallery with lots of variation including high key silhouette, low key silhouette, short lighting, soft and dramatic lighting.

  • Influencers: Use them or hate them. Cydnee will take you through navigating Instagram influencers to grow your following and maintain a client/inquiry base.

  • Welcome Attendees!!

  • In this class, we'll chat about the challenges of staying on task during your newborn sessions while having a 'go with the flow' mindset.

    I'll explain how I break down my posing flow(s) -in detail- which allows for a ton of flexibility while also checking off the boxes to get through your session and make sure you're maximizing your time.

    family posing flow

    beanbag posing flow

    wrapping posing/prop posing flow

    macros

    At the end, we will have a Q&A discussion so I can answer all your questions!

  • I'll be demonstrating how I prepare babies to photograph their tiny little details.

    I will show you how I wrap the baby and pose the baby in relation to the light. You will see my shooting angle as well as a few tips and tricks for getting a great shot in camera!

    We will incorporate parents' hands as well.

  • Join me (with your cameras!) for an outdoor evening session where I will guide you through selecting locations, what to look for, what to avoid, and most importantly - finding the most amazing light. Light is everything in photography. I am obsessed with light and getting things right in my camera (because I really hate editing!! 🤣) and will show you every one of the tips I’ve learned through decades of experience and hard-earned knowledge. We will also dive into posing, client preparation, and shooting workflow - I am an open book 😊❤️
